Baker Tilly Pairs

Last Saturday saw 38 players take part in the Baker Tilly International Pairs competition with the two players with the highest combined stableford score qualifying for an expenses paid trip to a tournament on the mainland.

There were some fine scores returned with the highest of the day coming from Richie Smith with an excellent 44 points, reducing his handicap from 14 to 12. Richie’s playing partner Jim Teale scored 32 points to give them a total of 76 points. However, this was not enough to take first place as Stuart Fox (40 points) and Neil Henderson (37) pipped them by one point with a combined score of 77 points. Dougie Shearer (36) and David Kerr (39) were third on 75 points.

Stuart and Neil have already started planning for their trip away together in October.
