Captain's team victorious in season's opener
 
Nineteen ladies and a "ringer" Ramsay Hogg playing for the Captain, Heather Hogg, earned a hard fought victory over Vice Captain Audrey Thompson's team. This was a reversal of last year when Audrey won the Captains Challenge convincingly.

The competition was played over nine holes in a Stableford points format. To get everybody in as close as possible, a shotgun start from every hole was put in place.

Once all the scores were in and "totted up" the captain had won by six points, 111 to 105.

Audrey had organised the day as a fundraiser for Diabetes UK, so thanks to her for all her hard work before and on the day. Approximately £300 has been raised and will be sent onto them.
