The 2010 junior golf season got underway on 11 April with the Gray Cup. Though the conditions were cold and windy the scores were impressive, with Stuart Fraser winning the cup for the first time with a nett 51, resulting in his handicap being reduced by 12 strokes to 35. Lewis Fraser was second with a superb nett 55.
The April Medal was played on 25 April in very blustery conditions, making scoring difficult. Liam Coffey coped best in the conditions and apart from a few wayward shots on 18 was the eventual winner with a nett 64.
The next competition is the Junior Club Championship on 9 May.
