The final full month of the golfing season saw the number of entries drop away as the month wore on, which was a shame as the course was still in excellent condition, a testament to Edwin and his team’s hard work over the year, which resulted in some excellent scores being posted during the month.
The first Wednesday sweep saw a superb (73) nett 62 from Marc Henry take top spot only by virtue of countback from Brydon Leask with the exact same gross and nett scores. Third with the lowest gross of the day (75) nett 65 was the evergreen Tommy Simpson on countback from Steven Henry (87) nett 65.
The following Wednesday saw a win for Stuart Tomlinson with 37 points, a point ahead of Steven Goodlad with Michael Welsh third with 34 points.
