Last weekend's competitions saw the RNLI Spoon being won by Ian Scott on a wet, windy Saturday. His score of 77, net 70 was enough to pip Glenn Gilfillan to first place by virtue of a better back nine score. A seven on the last hole spoiled a good round for Glenn who had to settle for second place with his score of 88, net 70. In third place was John Teale, 94 (net 73) and in fourth was Rab Duffin, 92 (net 74).

The April Medal and Senior Medal took place on Sunday, thankfully without the rain but with a strong wind blowing from the south. The late starters got the best of the conditions as the breeze steadily died out through the day. Of the early starters, Ian Scott had another good round with his round of 76, net 69, being the best score from the morning players. However, not surprisingly, the better scores were returned in the afternoon with John Teale taking first place in the Senior Medal with a score of 88, net 67. Taking first place in the April Medal was David Nicol, 77 (net 68) with Ian Scott in second place and Davy Thomson third with 81 (net 71).

This weekend sees the Fish Cup take place against Whalsay on Saturday with the J Walker Trophy on Sunday.
