Firstly, an omission from June, where Davy L Thomson won the June Senior Medal.

The Bond Cup was won by Crawford McIntyre with a nett 71. 

The Alan Blance memorial was won by John Collins with 42 points, one point ahead of Ross Chisholm with Crawford McIntyre taking third with 39 points.

The first Wednesday sweepstake saw a family 1-2 with John Teale taking first with 41 points and brother Jim second with 39 from a trio of players with 36 points.  The second Wednesday sweep was won by Lee Carter with an excellent (77) nett 65, which was also the lowest gross of the day.  Second was Ian Pottinger with (83) nett 68 and third by virtue of countback was Ian Leiper (83) nett 69 from Stewart Tomlinson.

Steven Goodlad, making a rare appearance this year, claimed the Sondelli trophy with an unbelievable (87) nett 61, well clear of Michael Welsh in second with (81) nett 67.  Third was Paul Grant with (81) nett 69.  Dougie Shearer claimed the lowest gross of the day with a 79.

The July Senior Medal saw Davy L Thomson make it two months in a row with an (83) nett 73 edging out John Teale on countback. 

The July Medal itself was won by Ernie Smith with a wonderful (68) nett 62, a shot ahead of MSP Tavish Scott with (75) nett 63.  Third was Jordan Leask with (67) nett 64.  Jordan’s 67 was the lowest gross of the day and also equals the club record and is just reward for all the hours spent practising on the course.

John Thomson hit a winning score in the 2 clubs and a putter competition, the Dewars Cup, with a (90) nett 69.  A shot behind with a nett 70 was Greens Convener Robbie Jamieson who shot a (76), the lowest gross of the day.  Tied for third with nett 71’s were Jimmy Sales and Gavin Philip.
